I finished!!!! Yay!

So after lots of persuasion I was finally convinced to read the Twilight series books. I kept telling myself that I wouldnt have the time, but I was wrong. When I started the first book, I could not put it down. It was like an addiction, whenever I found a spare minute or more I was back reading. I think I finished the first book in two days, then I couldn't wait to start the second book. The second book was just as good if not better. I finished the second book, "New Moon" in two days too. Then April came to town and I had to take a little break. It was good for me because my eyes needed the rest. I started the last book "Eclipse" and I finished a couple of days ago. I loved it! It was soo intense! Although I hate it when they leave you hanging at the end of books. So what do I do now? What will I do without the saga of Edward and Bella to entertain me? Well I guess I just have to wait for the next book to come out. I recommend these books to everyone! You might think you don't have the time to read, but with these books you make time. You just have to ignore the fact that your kids wont get watched and your house is a mess for a couple weeks.:) Thanks to everyone who kept pushing me to take the chance on these books!!!

This past weekend was Cody and I's 10 year Anniversary!! Can you believe it? I still am amazed that it has been that long. Looking back I cant believe all the things we have accomplished and experienced together. We had an amazing weekend! Friday afternoon we dropped the kids off at my sister in laws and headed to Midway, Ut. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast called Johnsons Mill. It was gorgeous up there! We had a room with a beautiful view of the mountains and there was a waterfall right outside our window. This place is located on like 15 acres of land so there was wildlife right around the corner....I mean right outside...at one point cody and I were leaving for dinner and there were 5 deer right next to our car. We just stood there in awe....watching because they were that close to us. It took like 10 minutes for them all to move before we could get in the car. We ate at a nice restaurant called the snake creek grill for dinner. The food was delicious! The next morning we woke up and decided to go snowshoeing. We wanted to get a closer look at some of the wildlife. That was really fun. After our stay at Johnsons Mill we went to Park city and did some shopping which I enjoyed and cody was a good sport to let me drag him from store to store. We ended the night with some more shopping in salt lake and then a nice dinner. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and a much needed rest from the craziness that is our life.

Here are some fun facts about us: We met at ricks college in the fall of 1997, I can still remember the first time we met in his apartment. I was immediately attracted and drawn to him. Must have been his cute smile and the way he carried himself. We were inseparable since that day. I fell in love with his charm and his love of life. I am also a sucker for a guy with a beautiful voice. And wow....he has an amazing voice. It just melts you. He also plays the piano beautifully. So many times when we were dating I would just sit and listen to him play. I could do that forever! He would write me beautiful poems just out of the blue. He would ditch class and come be with me whenever I was feeling down or sick. I loved his spiritual side. He was very family oriented and wanted a big family. So those are some things that made me fall in love with him back then. Another thing that I love so much about him is that he makes me feel beautiful. He makes a point to tell me every day how beautiful I am and how lucky he is to have me. Anyways I could go on and on about how wonderful he is but that would take forever! I love you baby! I couldn't have asked for more in our first 10 years.....cant wait for the next!!

I love Volleyball!!

Last night I had sooo much fun! I played volleyball with the women in our stake. I love my stake when it comes to sports because the women are all pretty hardcore and serious about it. Other wards I have been in before havent been as into it. Anyways, we only had 4 people on our team so that made it even more fun. I dont mean to be cockey, but I was awesome last night! I feel like I play better now then I did in high school. I was everywhere on the court. The women we were playing against kept saying, " How did she do that?" and "Man, she has arms everywhere!" It was very fun. And with only 4 women on my team that made it a great workout as well. My body ached this morning. Thanks to my sweet hubby for holding down the fort while I had some me time!

Fun and Relaxing Weekend

Miranda and uncle caleb....she had so much fun!!

Brendan and Uncle Caleb..he was not scared at all!

Alyssa loved the snowmobiles. She is soo cute!

Check out the face! Miranda looks awesome!

Thats me in the blue coat about to speed off!

So this week was Miranda's 7th Birthday( Feb. 6th) and we were going to take her the Planetarium this past saturday. Codys parents have been trying to get us up to Logan to go snowmobiling for the past couple of weeks because of all the great snow they have up there. It has been a couple of years since there has been enough snow in logan to snowmobile. So we asked Miranda if she would rather go up to grandpas and snowmobile instead. She was surprisingly excited about the new idea. So we went up to logan and visited and rode the snowmobiles all day on saturday. The kids had a blast and so did I! I almost died when I went out on my own with codys brother. He is not married and kind of a daredevil. I tried to jump a hill and couldnt make it to the top and started to fall backwards on the machine. That was scary! I jumped off in time and grabbed the break before it could fall backwards. We did get stuck on the hill after. My body is really sore today from all the fun! Here are a few pics from this weekend!! Jacob didnt want to snowmobile because he was too addicted to the Wii!

Long Time No See!!

Hi everyone!! Sorry it has been so long since I last posted. I think I felt a little dumb because I havent quite gotten the hang of blogging yet. April showed me how to do a few things. I will try to keep up more and update more frequently. So whats going on with me? Well, I have been getting out alot more lately, going out on dates with cody and out with just the girls. It is nice not having a baby constantly attached to me. Cameron is 18 months old now and that seems really weird to me. I have never gotten this far without being already pregnant with the next one. I love it! I am realizing day by day that he is most likely my last one. I am cherishing every moment with him. I have finally gotten my body back.. yay!! I have been going to the gym for about 6 months now, 6 days a week. I feel so good and I probably look better than I have in a long time. Anyways, not much else, I will post when something insane or interesting happens! I have ten kids at my house now....that is pretty insane!

Potty Training Success!!

So anyways, it has been my experience that boys are supposed to be harder to potty train then girls. At least that is what I have heard from other moms and I had the hardest time with my oldest. That is not the case with my almost 3 year old little man, Brendan. I started potty training him on Monday and he has pretty much mastered it. He hasnt had an accident since. I thought he would be my hardest on to train because he is soo stubborn. He had a couple of pee accidents right when I started but that was becuase he had never gone on the potty before. Once he went on the potty it has been ancient history. He is awesome! He goes on his own without me having to remind him. So I was waiting for him to have to go number two and thinking he will probably go in his underwear becuase that is how it always goes in the beginning. Last night at around 8pm he came running in to me and yelling," Mommy, I went poop in the potty!" He was soo excited and soo was I!! I was dreading having to clean out poopy underwear!! Right then and there I dropped what I was doing and took him to the store to pick out a toy and his own special underwear!! It has never been so easy for me! I think I deserve it after training 3 other kids before him!! Wish me luck that it all goes smoothly! I love having only one kid in diapers!!

My Wonderful Day Off!!

So yesterday was Labor day and my mom was here visiting. We decided we needed a break from the kids. Cody had been gone all weekend hanging out with his family and working on the farm in logan. So Cody was sweet enough to take the kids all day while my mom and I went to Bear Lake. It was sooo nice! The water was beautiful and the weather was perfect. It was probably in the upper 80's and there was a tiny breeze. So we played in the water and soaked up some sun, a little too much sun for me, and just relaxed all day! After we had enough of the lake we decided to get cleaned up at my moms new house and then we went to a movie. We saw Stardust. I loved it!! I recommend it to everyone! After that we got some icecream and headed home. So that was my day and I needed it! Thanks to my sweet hubby for holding down the fort!!
